Mad Jack

Lt Col John “Mad Jack” Churchill is famed as the last person to kill an enemy using a longbow. Mad Jack is also an apt name for a quintessentially English Bitter. Brewed with Fuggles and East Kent Goldings hops, this perfectly balanced ale has caramel overtones and a long hoppy finish.

Lt Col John “Mad Jack” Churchill had a distinguished military career, serving in the Commandos and receiving the Military Cross and Distinguished Service Order for his actions. He famously entered battle armed with a longbow, bagpipes, and a basket-hilted Scottish broadsword, and was known for his motto "Any officer who goes into action without his sword is improperly dressed." The label design was created by Dave Wyatt at Hug.

Caramel overtones and a gentle citrus aroma lead to a long hop finish
